Beltane – May Eve

Beltane means ‘Bright fire’ and marks the beginning of summer.   It is time to celebrate the fertility of the earth with music, dance and colour.   It was the day for match making between boy and girl and dancing round the multicoloured Maypole.    A time too to salute the fae and acknowledge the gods and goddesses.  At this time of year they have the best interests of everyone at heart.
