Yule in Bolton 2018

We met on the winter solstice and shared food.     At our ceremony we opened the quarters and then shared readings and stories.     Candles were lit by each of us as a way of saying good bye to any regrets from the last year.    As the sun set we extinguished all lights and sat in silence for several minutes reflecting on his point in the wheel of the year.    Then a single candle was lit and passed from hand to hand in the group as a welcome to the sun’s return from its solstice.   We then lit new candles as resolutions of changes for the good we will make in the coming year.    If there are to be new beginnings the seeds were sown in the light.     We cclosed our circle wishing peace and love to all who follow this path.
